Auditory Streaming Recording

A day spent recording hundreds of vocal samples for Dr Edward Wickham’s auditory streaming research project.

4x AKG 414s recorded to a laptop via Mixpre-D and Fireface UC. Markers were added during the recording for splicing afterwards. Fortunately, Reaper can be automated to make this otherwise laborious task very quick to do.

The recording took place in the Centre for Music and Science, Cambridge University.
