Software development for a giant foot-operated keyboard for the BBC’s The Dog Ate My Homework children’s panel show.

JG developed a software programme to control the lighting and sound from a giant keyboard. It’s a game. A familiar tune plays back on the keyboard, silently lighting the keys as it does. A contestant’s aim is to keep up with the tune by standing on keys as they light up. A correct key will result in the note being heard. An incorrect key will sound a buzzer. The contestant’s team has to guess the tune.

The software uses MIDI files that contain cues for pausing and lighting up keys.
