A simple and robust motor interface for real-time physical control of interactive art works.
- USB interface (Ethernet optional)
- controls the speed of up to four DC motors independently
- tough extruded aluminium enclosure
- use any number of interfaces simultaneously on the same computer
- drivers available for Windows, Mac OS and Linux
- speed control in 127 steps forwards and 127 steps backwards
- fast 100Hz update rate for precise control
- demonstration Max/MSP patch
- ultra-simple interfacing with motors using 1/4 inch jacks
- runs on a single power supply – separate power supply for motors not required
- 12 volts, up to 5 amps continuous per motor (13 amp peak)
- mix and match motors on each USB Motor Interface
- hot-plug motors whilst interface is turned on
